Fan Approved Sausage Stuffed Wontons

 1 pound of Gianelli Bulk Sausage (Hot ,Sweet, or Breakfast)
 1 package (12 ounces) wonton wrappers
 2 cups of your favorite shredded cheese (We used Cheddar)
 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
 1/2 medium onion, chopped
 8oz Cream Cheese – Softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray

In a skillet, over medium-high heat, cook and stir sausage. Cook until sausage is no longer pink and cooked through. Drain grease. Pat the sausage down with paper towels to remove excess grease.

In a large bowl combine and stir sausage, onions, peppers, and cream cheese until mixed thoroughly.

Take the wonton wrappers and press it gently into each one of the muffin cups. Bake for 5 minutes, or until the wonton is lightly browned.

Take a tablespoon of the sausage mixture and place in each wonton cup. Top with shredded cheese. Bake for another 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
